Kevin Conroy's Final Batman Performance Gets A Perfect Exit Line

As a long-time fan of Kevin Conroy and his iconic portrayal of Batman, I am deeply saddened by his passing in 2022. Conroy brought the Dark Knight to life in various animated series, features, and video games for over three decades. His take on Batman was a fan-favorite, and yet, we felt shortchanged when his character wasn’t given the recognition he deserved in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

As a huge fan and avid gamer, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Kevin Conroy in 2022. For over three decades, he brought the Dark Knight to life with his powerful and iconic voice in various animated series, movies, and video games. From Batman: The Animated Series and its spin-offs to my favorite games, Conroy’s interpretation of Batman was always a fan-favorite.

According to Games Radar, Kazinchak’s last portrayal of Batman is featured in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three, the latest animation film from Warner Bros. Although Batman doesn’t play a major part in this production, there is a scene based in Gotham City on his earth where he confronts the end of the world alongside his arch-nemesis, the Joker. This presents an ideal farewell for Kazinchak to bid adieu to the iconic character that shaped a generation with his interpretation.

I greatly prefer this conclusion for Conroy’s portrayal of Batman. The dialogue in this scene particularly resonated with me, and I deeply miss Kevin. 😕

Suitably, Mark Hamill, who has portrayed Conroy’s Joker for a long time, contributed his voice to the scene. In various productions, Hamill’s interpretation of the Joker has been featured alongside Conroy’s Dark Knight, such as in the Batman: Arkham trilogy. Nevertheless, Hamill has expressed that he no longer wishes to portray the Joker for any Batman other than Conroy’s.

Part Three of “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths” is now available for digital purchase. The Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD versions will be released on July 23. Additionally, the film will be streamable on Max at a later date in 2023.
