How to Get a Car in Once Human, Build Guide

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but be excited about the prospect of building my very own car in Once Human. The vast, open world of this game is a feast for the eyes and an adventure waiting to unfold, but traversing it on foot can be time-consuming and tiring.

Instead of “Why walk when you can drive, right?”, you could say “Why not drive instead of walking?” or “Driving is more convenient than walking.”

Once Human – How to Build a Car

In Once Human, building a car involves acquiring the essential components first. You can achieve this by purchasing the relevant “Memetics for Building” to gain access to the design plans. Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. Garage
  2. Modification I
  3. Four-Wheeler

As a gamer, I’d say it this way: Once you construct the Garage using 13 Copper Ingot and 10 Rusted Parts, I can then craft either a Retro Coupe or an All-terrain Vehicle. Engage with the Garage’s Management panel and press X to access the Vehicle List. Decide on which car you wish to create, and under “Basic Parts,” pick out the components you prefer. Naturally, the better options will boast greater Durability, Speed, Handling, and Fuel Tank Capacity.

To build a car you’ll need to provide four basic parts, each requiring different materials:

  1. Frame
  2. Tires
  3. Engine
  4. Oil Tank

Four extra elements can be included for enhanced protection and durability of your vehicle if desired.

After constructing your ideal car in the garage, here’s what you should do next: Go to the Vehicle List in your Garage and touch the newly created machine. Then, simply press the ‘F’ key to transfer it onto the platform. Leave the Garage and hit the ‘G’ key to release your car onto the ground below, allowing you to climb in and embark on an adventure.

As a fan, I’m thrilled that I can now quickly traverse the entire map, allowing me to finally make my way to Chalk Peak to obtain the coveted Cultist’s Treasure or reach High Banks to complete the Boy Just Wanna Have Fun quest. With a reliable vehicle at my disposal, I can also swiftly finish Murmurs in the Forest and stop by the Bunker if I manage to find the Access Card hidden in Throughville. Don’t forget to clean it regularly!
