Link Revealed To Be Playable For The Legend of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom

As a long-time fan of The Legend of Zelda series, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom during their June 2024 Direct presentation. Having grown up with Link as my trusted companion on countless adventures through Hyrule, it’s truly a thrill to see Princess Zelda stepping into the limelight for her first solo adventure.

In June 2024, Nintendo unveiled The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom as their upcoming game in the beloved series, during their Direct presentation. In this installment, gamers will take on the character of Princess Zelda from Hyrule, embarking on her first solo journey to protect her kingdom using echoes and a newfound ally.

In the upcoming action-adventure game “Echoes of Wisdom,” Zelda discovers fresh gameplay elements, including new abilities and weapons. A notable sword-wielding character has been unveiled as playable in this game. This announcement follows the release of the game’s ESRB rating, which also confirms that Link will join Zelda as a controllable character. “Echoes of Wisdom” is scheduled for launch later in the year.

Link Revealed To Be Playable For The Legend of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom

Based on Echoes of Wisdom’s ESRB rating description, the brave hero Link from Hyrule will feature in this action-adventure game. Although the story is independent of Zelda, players can assume the role of Link. However, he is among the numerous Hyruleans who have mysteriously vanished due to the strange distortions occurring within the kingdom.

With the character of Link, gamers wield a sword and quiver of arrows to vanquish adversaries. In contrast, Zelda has the ability to conjure creatures for combat, such as wind-up knights, pig soldiers, or even slippery slimes.

In Echoes of Wisdom, it’s uncertain how players can control Link. So, we assume that Link will be rescued by the player progressing in the game first, allowing him to be unlocked as a playable character. However, the specifics on how to play as Link in future Legend of Zelda games are yet to be revealed. We’ll have to wait for its release on September 26, 2024, for Nintendo Switch. A membership may be required for Save Data Cloud functionality.
