The popular series Heated Rivalry on HBO Max generated a lot of buzz earlier this year, and now another streaming service is hoping to replicate that success. They’ve already renewed their sports romance, Off Campus, for a second season – even before anyone has seen the first!
The new series, Off Campus, is adapted from the popular novels by Elle Kennedy. It’s a dramatic college story that centers on a high-profile hockey team and the relationships—both romantic and platonic—of the people around them. The show explores themes of love, loss, and growing up as these characters navigate the challenges of becoming adults.
The first season centers on the blossoming relationship between Hannah, a reserved songwriter played by Ella Bright, and Garrett, a popular hockey player at Briar University, portrayed by Belmont Camelli. Their connection is built on a classic ‘opposites attract’ dynamic, and promises plenty of fun and chemistry.
The show’s first season is scheduled to debut in May 2026, but Prime Video hasn’t announced the specific date yet.
