White Castle’s new, fully automated vending machine is becoming a hit online, with people in Boston buying sliders even before catching their flights.
Deciding where to eat at the airport before a flight can be tough. If you’re flying early, there might not be many options open. Even if there are places available, long lines could make you late for your flight, or you might prefer to just wait and eat the meal served on the plane.
Okay, so Logan Airport in Boston has a ton of food options. If I’m flying Delta domestically, I’m definitely grabbing a Shake Shack – it’s a lifesaver when you’re stuck at the airport!
Okay, so get this – now when I’m traveling, I can actually grab White Castle sliders from a vending machine! It sounds crazy, but it’s totally a thing, and everyone online is losing their minds about it. It’s become a huge topic of conversation, which is pretty wild.
White Castle vending machine grabs attention of foodies
White Castle debuted its vending machines at the National Restaurant Show in 2024, and now travelers can find them at Boston Logan Airport.
The self-serve vending machine has been available since late November, letting travelers quickly get sliders and sides before they go. While it doesn’t offer the entire White Castle menu, there are still several options to choose from.
Although it takes a few minutes to get your food from the vending machine, the sliders are guaranteed to be fresh for up to two hours after purchase, as some food enthusiasts have already discovered.
I was watching a review by Exploring With Josh, and he said these sliders were seriously hot – like, temperature hot! But he also thought they looked pretty bad, and he actually felt bad for the guy who ate one after him. It was a funny review, honestly!
It’s clear the vending machine is more useful than the Pokémon card machine recently installed at the Pentagon, and that unusual choice has gotten a lot of attention online.
