Romeo Is a Dead Man will be released on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026. You can play it on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for $49.99. If you’re buying on Steam, there’s a 10% discount until February 17th, 2026, bringing the price down to $44.99.
Romeo Is a Dead Man Gameplay
Romeo Is a Dead Man is an action RPG where you play as Romeo, an FBI agent who can travel through time. You’ll battle enemies using a combination of four melee and four ranged weapons. Romeo has a unique power called “Bloody Summer,” and you can improve his weapons as you progress through the game to help defeat challenging bosses and enemies.
After completing each level, Romeo can explore The Last Night, a 2D area where he can find various activities. While on the Ship, Romeo is able to:
- Talk to other members
- Grow and upgrade Bastards (minions with different abilities who fight for Romeo)
- Upgrade their arsenal

Romeo Is a Deadman Story
Romeo Is a Dead Man offers a fresh take on the timeless story of “Romeo & Juliet.” However, this version isn’t set in Renaissance Italy; it unfolds in the town of Deadford, Pennsylvania.
You play as Romeo Stargazer, a police officer who almost died fighting a monster called a White Demon. Luckily, his grandfather, Benjamin, travels back in time and saves him using a device called the DeadGear Life Support System. This system not only keeps Romeo alive but also turns him into DeadMan.
The FBI’s special unit, the Space-Time Police, enlists Romeo’s help to catch criminals exploiting a dangerous situation. At the same time, Romeo – known as DeadMan – is desperately searching for answers about the vanishing of his beloved Juliet.
Romeo has a special connection to his grandfather, Benjamin, who passed away. Benjamin’s memory lives on as a unique mark on Romeo’s back. Together, using Romeo’s power and Benjamin’s wisdom, they embark on a thrilling adventure through time filled with action and excitement.
