Just one day after a major bug that let players duplicate items was fixed, Arc Raiders players have already found two new ways to gain an unfair advantage in the game.
Okay, so one of the coolest things is this lets me fix any weapon without having to grind for parts. Seriously, finding stuff for high-end guns like the Bobcat or Tempest can be a real pain, so this just skips all that hassle!
To fix a broken weapon, put a fully repaired one in your first weapon slot and the broken one in the second. Quickly swap their positions twice, then drop and pick up the broken weapon. It will now have the same damage as the repaired one.
This effectively gives the second gun the same lifespan as the first. You can do this as many times as you like, meaning you could start a playthrough with broken weapons and one good one, and end up with everything fully repaired.

And it didn’t stop there. Once this issue began circulating, it was discovered to have an even more significant impact.
You can do the same thing with other weapons by equipping one with a large ammo capacity – like a Torrente with Extended Mags – in the first slot. This lets weapons that normally only fire a few times, such as the Ferro or Anvil, shoot over 100 times before needing a reload.
You can also equip this to weapons like the Bobcat SMG or Vulcano Shotgun, letting you rapidly fire on opponents and keep them under constant pressure.

I’ve heard about these glitches, and while they seem really helpful in the game, I think it’s best to steer clear of them. After they fixed the duplication glitch back on February 10th, the developers at Embark Studios said they’re going to do something about players who used it to get ahead, so it’s probably not worth the risk!
Look, as much as I’d love to tweak my weapons and make them super powerful for free, I’ve heard that doing so can actually get you banned from the game. So, it’s probably best to avoid those kinds of modifications, even if they seem tempting!
