Jill Zarin Fired From E!’s RHONY Reunion Series

I was really shocked to hear that Jill Zarin, from the old Real Housewives of New York, has been let go from the upcoming RHONY reunion show, The Golden Life. Apparently, Variety reported it, and it’s all because of some really problematic comments she made about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance. She posted a video on Instagram (which she’s since deleted) calling it the “worst halftime show ever.” She went on to say that because the US was celebrating 250 years, it wasn’t right that the show was partially in Spanish, and she even criticized his performance as being overly suggestive and insecure. Honestly, it was a pretty awful take, and I can see why E! decided to cut ties with her.

As a huge fan of reality TV, I’ve been following the drama surrounding Jill Zarin, and it’s gotten pretty intense. It’s wild to see how people connected to Housewives are now publicly distancing themselves from her. Zarin Fabrics, the store her late husband Bobby used to run, even posted a picture of her with a big red X over her face – a really strong statement! Their caption explained they value creativity, respect, and community. Even her own daughter, Ally Shapiro, jumped on Instagram to praise Bad Bunny’s halftime show, calling it the best in years and more like a full-blown performance with a storyline. And Andy Cohen? He just had two words for the whole thing: “Call E!” – basically saying it’s perfect fodder for the entertainment channels.

E!’s upcoming show, The Golden Life, will feature Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Countess Luann, and Kelly Bensimon. However, it’s uncertain how long Ramona Singer will remain on the show, given her history of making racist remarks.
