If you’re working on the Last Wish quest in Dying Light The Beast, you might be having trouble locating Iris’s safes.

I’m totally stuck! These things are hidden everywhere, and each one has a tricky code you need to figure out. What’s worse, if you guess wrong, it can really slow you down, and I’m getting frustrated trying to find the right combinations!

I’ve tested this myself, so here’s a simple guide to all the Iris safe codes and how to complete the quest quickly and efficiently, without wasting time trying random combinations.

How to complete all Last Wish

To finish the Last Wish quest, you have to locate Iris’s safe and enter the right code to open it. However, there are also two other safes you can find and unlock.

  • The code for Iris’ main safe is 20-07-06. Use the safe on the left of the two on the table. This is the one with the music box.
  • Extra Iris safe on the desk is opened with the safe code 11-17-08. Valuables
  • The code to open the third Iris safe opposite this desk is 71–61-45. Valuables.

Find Iris’ notebook clue for the Last Wish safe code

After accepting the Last Wish quest, go to Iris’ shop and house. Before you begin interacting with the dials, look around the room for notes. Pay close attention to a small birthday reminder – it looks like a date referring to a grandchild.

Here’s a clue to the main combination. The birthday is 20-07-06, and it unlocks the music-box safe needed for the quest. Use Survivor Sense to carefully search desks and counters for a hidden note – don’t miss it!

How to find the Iris safe after it disappears

Once you’ve got the clue, the safe vanishes from its shelf.

Keep looking – the goal is within reach! Use your instincts and carefully check the floor around any damaged doors or windows.

Okay, so I noticed these really obvious, muddy footprints, and they seem to be showing me the way out and around. I’m following them now, and they lead right into this warehouse nearby. The tricky part is, I have to climb in through a high window on the left side of the building to get in!

Main Iris safe code

You’ll find two safes on the desk in the living area. Open the one on the left and enter the code 20-07-06. This safe holds the important item you need: Iris’ Music Box.

If you accidentally open the wrong box, it won’t cause any problems, but it won’t help you advance the main quest.

Other safe codes

Two more Iris-related safes show up in this chain.

  • One is on top of this very same desk, but to the right. Punch in 11-17-08.
  • The last Iris-tagged lock is right across it, on top of another desk with some rope and a toolbox. Use 71-61-45 here.

Again, the reward is valuables, so do not expect a unique quest item here.
