Okay, so I finally got my hands on Front Mission 3: Remake! It’s out now on pretty much everything – PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC through Steam and GOG. It originally came out on Switch last June, but now everyone gets a chance to play!
A free demo of Front Mission 3: Remake is now available on Steam, GOG, PlayStation, and Xbox. The game is currently 10% off for a limited time. Our review of the Nintendo Switch version described it as a somewhat incomplete experience, and we’ve also reported on changes made to the game’s artwork.

The classic tactical RPG, Front Mission 3, is back! This remake lets you experience the third installment in the popular series. You’ll play as Kazuki and Ryogo as conflict escalates in dangerous military areas. Control massive Wanzers and lead your team in challenging, turn-based combat, with the future of the region at stake.
Story
FRONT MISSION 3: Remake is a strategy RPG set in the future, where countries and companies battle for control using giant, customizable robots called Wanzers. The story follows Kazuki Takemura, and your choices early in the game lead to one of two different paths. Both paths reveal a worldwide conspiracy filled with secret weapons, ruthless corporations, and intense national rivalries.
The story starts when Kazuki and his friend Ryogo accidentally get caught up in a war while making a simple delivery to a military base. The player can then choose for Kazuki to team up with either his sister, Alisa, or with Emma Klamsky, an agent looking into a secret weapon called M.I.D.A.S.
Both storylines follow Kazuki and his team as they investigate a mystery, grappling with questions of loyalty, the importance of family, and the moral implications of technology, all while trying to avert disaster.
