Absolut Vodka teams up with Tabasco to launch spicy chili flavor

Okay, so Absolut and Tabasco teamed up and made this crazy new drink called Absolut Tabasco. Basically, it’s vodka flavored with chili peppers – sounds intense, right? As a gamer who likes a kick with their drinks, I’m definitely curious to try it!

This special edition vodka combines Absolut Vodka with the natural flavor from the leftover pepper mash used to make Tabasco Sauce. It’s designed to capture the spicy kick of Tabasco in a bottle of vodka.

The product combines the unique flavor and scent of a well-known hot sauce with high-quality vodka.

When and where Absolut Tabasco will be available

This new vodka will be available in over 50 countries, including the US and UK, starting in February 2026.

Absolut describes the drink as having a unique flavor with hints of aged chili peppers and vinegar, balanced by a subtle sweetness. This combination creates a strong, enjoyable warmth that’s incredibly satisfying and makes you want to take another drink.

Absolut Tabasco is made in Sweden and is a gluten-free spirit with no added sugar. It has an alcohol content of 38%.

The bottle’s design blends elements from both Absolut and Tabasco. It features Absolut’s classic bottle shape, the name “Absolut Tabasco” in Absolut’s signature font, and Tabasco’s distinctive diamond-shaped label with its traditional colors.

Absolut explained the partnership was motivated by increasing consumer interest in spicy beverages, and predicts sales of spicy vodka will jump 27% by 2029.

This new product joins Absolut Peppar, Absolut’s current spicy vodka, which the brand describes as having the taste of freshly ground black pepper in liquid form.

Craig van Niekerk, Absolut Vodka’s head of global marketing, explained that consumers are increasingly interested in spicy drinks. He believes a partnership between a top vodka brand like Absolut and a popular hot sauce maker is a perfect way to meet that demand.

Absolut says that while Absolut Tabasco can be taken as a shot, it’s best suited for making spicy cocktails.
