A police officer who wasn’t on duty is being praised online after quickly jumping down onto the subway tracks in Barcelona to help a confused man who had fallen.
A scary event happened in November 2025, and video of it began circulating on social media in December. It first gained popularity among Spanish speakers, and now it’s being widely shared in English-speaking online communities, where people are applauding the officer’s bravery.
So, I was reading this story, and apparently on November 25th, this police officer, Felisa Pozas, was just waiting for the subway in Barcelona, off-duty and everything. She noticed this guy near the platform who looked totally unsteady on his feet, like he was stumbling around.
Footage from the scene shows Pozas appeared worried as the man walked away. Realizing something wasn’t right, she used the station’s emergency intercom to notify authorities about the situation.
Just moments later, the man fell off the platform and onto the subway tracks, where he didn’t move. Feli and three others quickly ran down to help pull him back onto the platform before a train came.
A man rushed onto the subway tracks when he saw someone in danger, and without hesitation, jumped down to help alongside others. The SOS intercom system provided by TMB Barcelona was also crucial in the rescue effort. #WeAreMossos

Police officer’s quick thinking saves man who fell on subway tracks
As the video ended, people gathered around the man to see what was happening. Originally posted on Spanish social media on December 12th, it became popular on the Reddit page ‘interestingasf*ck’ in January 2026.
People flooded the comments to commend Pozas for his fast actions and courage, with one Reddit user writing, “It’s good to see there are still kind people out there.”
Someone else commented that the woman was amazing, explaining she was the first to offer help, quickly got back on her feet after falling onto the tracks, and even managed to hold onto her bag. They called her a ‘queen’!
“Someone promote that woman,” another suggested.
According to news reports, the man was taken to a hospital and received treatment for some minor injuries. Details about his current condition haven’t been released, and authorities are still investigating what happened.
Pozas described her reaction to the incident in an interview with RTVE. She said she didn’t think twice before rushing onto the tracks to help the man and try to prevent him from getting more hurt.

A Kick streamer is being praised online for stopping to help people involved in a car accident in Downtown Los Angeles while he was live streaming. His act of kindness quickly went viral.
In 2020, a streamer in Japan came to the rescue of a lost elderly woman who was wandering the streets at night in her pajamas. He guided her to a convenience store and then called the police to ensure she was safely returned home.
