Following this pattern, similar to the release of Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps in July 2025 which became available on Disney+ in November, we can anticipate Zootopia 2 to follow suit.

However, Avatar: The Way of Water was an exception to this pattern. Disney didn’t release the sequel for streaming until almost six months after its theatrical release, but that was because the film was doing so well in theaters financially, so they kept it there longer.
