Jynxzi dethrones Vedal987’s AI VTuber Neuro-sama as most-subscribed Twitch streamer

Jynxzi is once again the most-followed streamer on Twitch, surpassing Vedal987 to claim the number one position.

Vedal recently became the top streamer on Twitch, achieving number one earlier this month. This happened after their AI VTuber channel outperformed all human streamers in January.

The increase in viewers happened after a hugely successful broadcast where the channel gained over 162,000 new subscribers during a popular Twitch event called a Hype Train. This achievement was connected to Vedal’s AI virtual streamer, Neuro-sama, who first appeared on Twitch in 2019 and was later fully developed as a VTuber in late 2022.

Jynxzi was surprised by how successful the AI VTuber, Neuro-sama, had become and immediately shared his reaction on his live stream.

He was shocked to hear Vedal987 wasn’t a real person. “I’ve never heard of that!” he exclaimed. “That’s where streaming is headed.” He seemed confused, but ultimately shrugged it off, saying, “It’s all just part of the game, I guess.” He’d learned that someone had sent 158,000 gifted subscriptions to this AI-powered VTuber, who streams constantly, 24/7.

Jinzxy bewildered when he find out his number 1 spot is taken by Vedal987 “the AI VTuber”.

Since being relaunched in 2022, Neuro-sama has become popular online several times, notably with a video where she wondered about her own reason for being.
