What happened in Season 5 Part 1?

The main drama revolved around a love triangle involving Mina Sue, Seung-il, and Kim Min-ji. Kim Min-ji and Seung-il went on a date, but Mina Sue later discovered Seung-il also had feelings for her during a game where everyone had to be honest.

Before this moment, Mina Sue had already shared that her three favorite contestants were Lee Sung-hun, Lim Su-been, and Woo Sung-min. She even told Sung-min she hoped to go to Paradise with him.

Learning that Seung-il had feelings for both her and Min-ji, she was then asked who her favorite contestant was at the moment. She surprisingly chose Seung-il, which even stunned the hosts of Single’s Inferno.

The campfire also saw a new love triangle develop between Kim Jae-jin, Park Hee-sun, and Lee Joo-young. Things came to a head when Jae-jin confessed he preferred Joo-young, all while still holding Hee-sun’s hand.

What to expect in Season 5 Part 2

The sneak peek for the next episode shows Mina Sue and Seung-il talking one-on-one. Seung-il admits he’s only been focused on getting to know two people, and Mina Sue hints that he can learn more if he wants to.

Even though she seemed interested in several people, she later criticized Lim Su-been for talking to Park Hee-sun.

Su-been wondered if Mina Sue disliked men who flirt with lots of people. Mina Sue responded that she was really bothered because the man she went to Paradise with was now spending all his time with Hee-sun.

The show cuts to the hosts, and Dex admits he’s lost touch with Mina Sue.

The scene also features a somewhat awkward moment when Woo Sung-min unexpectedly joins Kim Go-eun and Shin Hyeon-woo’s conversation. Sung-min playfully tells Hyeon-woo he’s going to the restroom and expects the chat to be over when he returns. Hyeon-woo responds with a witty suggestion: “Why don’t you just set a timer?”

The latest preview hints at two new contestants who could really shake things up – a man and a woman. Mina Sue seems particularly interested in the man, saying, “There’s someone new I’m curious about.” However, it’s not yet clear if she’s referring to this new contestant or someone else on the show.
