While many expected a strong performance from Jujutsu Kaisen due to its existing fanbase, it’s still beating out other popular series like the second season of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
Okay, so after Season 2 really shook things up and showed us anyone could go, Season 3 just threw us right into the Culling Game. Basically, a ton of people are about to die! Shibuya is completely overrun with cursed spirits and really dangerous curse users, especially since Gojo Satoru, who was incredibly powerful, got trapped in this almost unbreakable cursed object. It’s total chaos, and Itadori Yuji is trying his best to clean up the mess and fix things, even though he feels responsible for a lot of what’s happening. But here’s the kicker – he’s being hunted down by someone who actually goes to Jujutsu High with him!
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Season 3 Is Already a Fan Favorite

As of today, three episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen are available. While streaming services outside of Japan might release all episodes at once, Japan is sticking with the traditional weekly release schedule. Fans have already shared plenty of opinions and reviews online about the third season. The first episode has received a very high rating of 9.2 on IMDb. Rotten Tomatoes doesn’t have enough viewer reviews to calculate an overall score yet, but the four critic reviews so far are all positive, giving the show a perfect 100% rating.
Fans are flocking to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions to the new episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen. One user praised the animation as visually stunning, while another called the start of the new season amazing and predicted it could become one of the greatest anime of all time, highlighting the beautiful visuals and colors.

New episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen come out every Thursday. Season 3 is predicted to have at least 24 episodes, possibly 26. While Season 4 hasn’t been confirmed, it’s highly likely that MAPPA will produce it.
