I was completely hooked by the story! It’s about this incredible team – seismologists and government agents – who are in a desperate race against time. A massive fault line is threatening to tear the United States apart, and they’re the only ones who can try to stop it. The tension just builds and builds as they try to prevent a total disaster!

When a major earthquake hits the US, it triggers a continental breakup. Dr. Cami Weddle (played by Morris) races to find out what caused the disaster and keep her family – Eric (Morrow) and Emily (Gold) – safe. Her investigation is complicated by her ex-husband, Alan (Bruno), who might be connected to the events.
The ex-couple needs to work together to prevent a catastrophe, but it may already be too late. The damage is starting to affect cities everywhere.

I was on the edge of my seat watching this movie! It’s about a terrifying situation where the United States is literally coming apart, and a team of scientists is desperately trying to figure out how to stop it. The catch? They don’t always get along, and they have to learn to work together if they want to save the country.
Best Parts
This disaster feels like a critical turning point, a race against time to prevent widespread global changes. It also highlights the many different factors that can contribute to environmental shifts.
Worst Parts
This movie doesn’t bring anything fresh to the disaster genre, and it’s almost comical how a single family ends up doing all the work to save everyone. The acting and special effects aren’t particularly impressive either. The biggest problem, though, is that the world feels empty – it’s only our characters reacting to the disaster, and there’s no sense of a larger population trying to escape or cope.
