How to Complete the Behemoth Guardian Project in Infinity Nikki

Now that players are getting used to the Itzaland world in Infinity Nikki, new updates are adding even more things for Nikki and Momo to do. The latest seasonal update, Life as a Poem (2.1), features one particularly rewarding activity that’s well worth playing for both the experience and the prizes you’ll earn.

The Behemoth Guardian Project is a detailed new activity in Infinity Nikki. It involves caring for a baby behemoth – the same one you meet during the special quest. It can be a bit complicated, so here’s a guide to help you complete it.

How to Unlock Behemoth Guardian Project in Infinity Nikki

In Infinity Nikki, to start the Behemoth Guardian Project, you’ll first need to finish the ‘Life as a Poem’ questline within the Elderwood Forest. Don’t worry, the behemoths you meet during these quests are friendly, so you won’t need the Sound of Leaves outfit.

After you complete the last quest, Nikki will become the caretaker of the little behemoth, and a special place called the Warmfur Home, located near the Forest of Slumber, will be set up for it to grow up.

Okay, so I can just teleport straight to Warmfur Home using the Forest of Slumber warp spire – it’s super convenient because it’s right by the entrance. Plus, the map’s getting an icon for both the behemoth fawnling and the memory sprout shop, which is awesome. I can track either one whenever I need to, so I won’t have to wander around looking for them!

The Behemoth Guardian Project is now a permanent part of the game, meaning you won’t lose access to it when the 2.1 (Life as a Poem) season finishes.

How to Name Your Behemoth in Infinity Nikki

When you first get your fawnling in Infinity Nikki, naming it is one of the first things you’ll want to do. Simply interact with it while at the Warmfur Home, and this will open its profile. You’ll find a field at the bottom where you can type in your fawnling’s name.

Just so you know, once you pick a name for your fawnling, it’s permanent – you won’t be able to change it later, so make sure you really like it!

How to Increase Behemoth Fawnling’s Attributes in Infinity Nikki

Okay, so I’m really getting into raising my fawnling, and I’ve learned its growth basically comes down to four key things: Strength, Intellect, Emotion, and Curiosity. They all start at a ‘C’ level, and my main goal is to get them all the way up to ‘A’! Luckily, there are tons of little things I can do every day to help boost those stats. It’s awesome because…

  • Following your Daily Schedule of Growth Events for each attribute
  • Inviting the behemoth fawnling to use each built facility in the Warmfur Home
  • Using Flavor Essences in their Main Dish meal each day

These choices also impact your fawnling’s overall happiness and how much it likes you, so it’s important to keep things balanced. When your fawnling is feeling down, do things to cheer it up, and make sure to do activities daily that strengthen your bond.

Okay, so besides its normal stats, I found out you can actually groom the Behemoth Fawnling in Itzaland, just like you do with other creatures. It’s not about making it stronger or anything, it’s just another way to get crafting materials, which is pretty cool!

How Daily Schedule Works for Your Behemoth Fawnling in Infinity Nikki

The Daily Schedule is the most important part of the Behemoth Growth Project, because it helps your fawnling grow physically each month.

Okay, so to plan out what my fawnling does each month, I open the Daily Schedule. It’s that big yellow button on the bottom right of the Raise menu. Once it’s open, I can pick up to four activities for my fawnling to focus on. The cool thing is, the activities are broken down into different categories – like, some will help boost their Strength, while others are all about building Curiosity. It’s organized by these different ‘attributes’ on the left side of the screen, so it’s easy to see what each activity does.

Every action you take costs Mood points, so think through your choices. You don’t have to focus on improving attributes with every activity. You can also choose a Companion Event, like ‘Hide and Seek’, to earn back some of those points.

Your task is to nurture your fawnling until it’s fully grown at 16 months old. Each time you finish a day’s tasks, a month will go by. So, you’ll need to complete 16 sets of daily tasks to help your fawnling mature.

How to Build Facilities for Your Behemoth Fawnling in Infinity Nikki

Once your Warmfur Home is ready for your fawnling, the next step is to add some helpful features to make daily life comfortable. This includes things like play areas, a warm bath, and a large, comfy bed. Building each of these features will require a small amount of common crafting materials, as shown above.

To upgrade buildings, interact with the Construction Boards in each area. Once a building is finished, your fawnling can use it right away as long as they’re nearby. To make your fawnling follow you to a building, play the wooden recorder using the icon at the bottom of the screen (press ‘X’ on PC, ‘L3’ on a controller, or tap the Recorder icon on mobile).

Taking care of your fawnling through facility activities improves their Energy and Mood, and also makes them stronger. Each activity boosts different skills, so choose wisely and plan the order you do them in. Keep in mind that you can only do each activity once a month (or during each Daily Schedule cycle).

As your fawnling gets bigger, you’ll need to improve each building by adding more resources. Keep in mind that each building has a minimum level needed before you can upgrade it, and bigger buildings use more Energy.

How to Purchase and Use Items With Your Behemoth in Infinity Nikki

By completing tasks and reaching goals around Warmfur Home, you’ll earn Growth Marks. You can then spend these marks at the Memory Shop—either through the Memory Sprout in the center of the area, or by using the Raise menu with your behemoth fawnling.

You can buy various items, like Fun Toys, which start special events that boost your fawnling’s happiness and how well you bond with it.

You can also purchase outfits for your Behemoth companion that do more than just change its appearance. These outfits provide helpful bonuses, like a permanently increased Mood or faster Affinity gain.

I’ve discovered you can also buy these things called Flavor Essences! They’re like special ingredients that give your fawnling’s meals extra benefits – basically, they boost its stats when you feed it. Pretty cool, huh?

How to Complete Warmfur Wishes in Infinity Nikki

Warmfur Wishes are goals you can achieve as you care for your behemoth fawnling. These goals cover everything from improving its stats and building habitats, to increasing your bond with it and unlocking special traits.

These goals are broken down into two types: Ongoing Wishes and Timed Wishes. Ongoing Wishes let you complete the same goal multiple times, improving things like your stats and Affinity. Timed Wishes are one-time goals, like building new structures.

Completing these wishes rewards you with varying amounts of extra Affinity points and Growth Marks.

How to Fill Your Behemoth Journal in Infinity Nikki

The Behemoth Journal is different from your regular in-game interface. You can access it through the ‘Fun to Play’ section of the Events menu. It’s like a list of tasks you can complete to earn rewards related to the Behemoth Guardian Projects.

Okay, so as I fill out each part of this journal, I get 100 Diamonds as a reward, which is awesome! Some of these journal goals are gonna take a while, so I’ll need to pop into Warmfur Home pretty regularly to keep things moving.

How to Raise More Behemoth Fawnlings in Infinity Nikki

Okay, so I finished raising my first fawnling and want another one? Here’s what I figured out: I have to wait for the timer on the first one to finish before I can get a new one. But that’s not all! I also need to have a reunion with the first fawnling. I do that by opening my Recorder Journal and hitting ‘Call for Reunion’ when the option pops up. Then I can start on a new little buddy!

Head to the reunion location and play your wooden recorder to call forth the now-grown fawnling. Once the reunion ends, open your Recorder Journal and choose ‘Welcome a New Companion.’ You’ll play the recorder again, and a new, even bigger fawnling will arrive, happily accompanied by the one you previously raised.

Now you can invest 200 Talent Points into two attributes right away, so think carefully about which ones to pick.
