A streamer just stayed awake for 89 hours to 100 percent every 3D Zelda game ever made.
Completing one 3D Zelda game takes a lot of time, but finishing the entire series with 100% completion is an incredibly huge undertaking.
I’m completely hooked on these games – they start as something to pass the time, but quickly become all-consuming! The main story will easily take you 25 to 40 hours, and if you’re like me and want to explore everything, well, you’re looking at a serious time commitment. I spent over 180 hours getting 100% completion in Breath of the Wild, and I’ve heard Tears of the Kingdom will take even longer! It’s amazing, but be warned – they’re a big investment of your time.
Try doing that seven times consecutively without rest, and you’re attempting something incredibly rare – almost unheard of, in fact.
A sleepless Zelda marathon that rewrote the record books
Twitch streamer Nukie just made history! After six years of practice, she became the first person to beat every 3D Legend of Zelda game – from Ocarina of Time to Tears of the Kingdom – with 100% completion, all in one go. The incredible playthrough lasted 89 hours without sleep and finished live on her stream with a final victory in Tears of the Kingdom.
I’ve become the first person to 100% complete every 3D Legend of Zelda game, from Ocarina of Time to Tears of the Kingdom, in a single, uninterrupted playthrough. It took six years of preparation and culminated in a four-day speedrun that I’ll always remember. I feel incredible and unstoppable! I’m on top of the world!

I just finished watching an incredible Zelda marathon! It was a complete playthrough of seven games – starting with Ocarina of Time at just over four hours, then Majora’s Mask took about five and a half hours. The Wind Waker was a seven-hour adventure, followed by Twilight Princess at around the same length. Skyward Sword took a bit longer, almost eight and a half hours, but then Breath of the Wild was a massive undertaking – over 22 hours! And finally, Tears of the Kingdom was the longest by far, clocking in at over 32 hours. What’s amazing is they didn’t skip anything – they completed the main story, all the side quests, found every collectible, and got all the upgrades in each game. It was a truly epic run!
Nukie explained that this endeavor began in 2020 as a personal goal, not an attempt to gain attention. She had been training for years and estimated the run would take around 80 hours, but she ultimately went even further.
After people expressed concern about her well-being, she explained that she was receiving medical supervision and hadn’t experienced any hallucinations or brief lapses in attention. She emphasized she paid close attention to her body’s signals throughout the attempt and strongly advises against anyone trying to replicate it without taking significant safety measures.
