Red Square Games, a studio based in Poland, just revealed Twilight Imperium Digital, an official video game version of the popular 4X board game’s fourth edition. Check out the trailer below!
Twilight Imperium Digital – basic information
Twilight Imperium Digital is a video game adaptation of the popular board game, bringing its epic galactic conflict and political maneuvering to a new format. The developers promise to maintain the original game’s strategic depth, intricate gameplay, and unique feel, while also making it enjoyable for both longtime fans and new players.
The game features 17 distinct factions, each with a unique way to play, a rich backstory, and special powers. Every choice you make will have consequences, and you’ll expand your galactic influence through diplomacy, warfare, trade, and scheming. Randomly generated maps and objectives will ensure a highly replayable experience.
With *Twilight Imperium Digital*, you can play with others online or practice against the computer. Playing against the AI is a great way to learn the game and try out different strategies at your own speed.
Players of *Twilight Imperium* are really excited about the recent announcement. Online comments are filled with enthusiastic feedback and ideas for the game. Many are hoping to see content from previous expansions included, and a save game feature is a popular request, since a single game session can take many hours to complete.
Twilight Imperium Digital is coming to PC, but it doesn’t have a release date yet. You can add it to your wishlist on Steam if you’re interested.
