Bandai Namco has announced that over 1 million copies of Digimon Story: Time Stranger have been shipped worldwide. While this figure represents shipments to retailers, it also includes digital sales of the complete game, giving a good overall picture of how many copies have been purchased.
So, the Digimon RPG is getting a ton more content, which is awesome! They just dropped the first DLC, ‘Alternate Dimension,’ and alongside that, they gave us a free update with some cool stuff from the Digimon Beatbreak anime. But that’s not all – there are still two more DLC packs planned as part of the Season Pass, so I’m really excited to see what else they add to the game!
The official English announcement can be found in the tweet below. Digimon Story: Time Stranger is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC through Steam.
Digimon Story Time Stranger has reached a major milestone, selling over 1 million copies! We want to thank all of our players, known as Agents of ADAMAS, for joining us on this journey to the Digital World: Iliad. We’re sure Dr. Yuki, your in-game father, would be incredibly proud of your support!
