The new action RPG, Arknights: Endfield, is launching on January 22, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. Announced with a trailer at The Game Awards 2025, this spin-off to the popular game Arknights blends fast-paced combat in a large, explorable world with factory-building elements similar to the game Satisfactory. Like many games in its genre, it will also feature a collectible character system with anime-style characters.
The trailer, which also served as a music video, unexpectedly revealed the game’s release date and debuted the title track, “Give Me Something,” by the band OneRepublic. OneRepublic and the game’s main characters both appeared in the trailer.
Endfield is a new game based on the popular tower defense game Arknights, but it plays quite differently. While many games like it focus on anime-style characters and collecting them (often called ‘gacha’ RPGs, inspired by Genshin Impact), Endfield adds a unique twist: building and managing a factory, similar to games like Factorio and Satisfactory. It’s more than just fighting; you’ll also be strategically building up your base.
I’ve been following Endfield for a while now, ever since the first global test back in January 2024. They’ve had a few open betas since then, and the latest one in November felt really close to the final game. There’s already a dedicated community building up – a lot of Arknights fans and people who jumped into the playtests. And the best part? We don’t have much longer to wait – it’s launching on January 22nd! I’m super hyped.
