RaKai, a popular streamer, criticized viewers for reporting his YouTube stream, which led to it being taken down. This happened after he moved to YouTube following a ban from Twitch.
On December 4th, Twitch banned RaKai for what they called “illegal activities.” The platform initially displayed a two-year ban, but Twitch later clarified this was just an error.
Viewers are debating exactly what caused the recent controversy surrounding the streamer. Two incidents from his recent broadcasts have been highlighted: one involved him seemingly taking flowers from Target while claiming he’d already paid for them. This incident was even referenced at The Streamer Awards, where the host, QTCinderella, jokingly asked, “What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever stolen?”
On December 9th, RaKai made offensive comments about QT during a livestream. This stream was hosted on YouTube, a platform RaKai temporarily switched to, but this change has presented some challenges.
RaKai’s YouTube hit with spam reports
So, I was watching RaKai stream on December 10th, and his chat suddenly got locked. He said it was because people were mass-reporting him, basically spamming the report button.
“Stop reporting my stream, please, bro! Please, stop reporting my stream. Please!” he pleaded.
The streamer explained on X (formerly Twitter) that people were falsely reporting his account, claiming he was 13 years old, which was causing his chat to be shut down.

I was watching his stream, and things got pretty frustrating. He ended up going live on Instagram to address all the people who were reporting him. He was really upset, telling everyone to stop because it wasn’t funny and he was just trying to stream for his fans. He even said YouTube was already working on the issue, so reporting him wasn’t helping at all – he was begging people to stop!
I’m not letting you upset me like this. I’m incredibly angry, and I’m threatening to find you and physically harm you. Please stop provoking me; this is serious.

Some people are saying RaKai might not be able to stream on Twitch until January. It’s unclear whether he’ll be able to stream on YouTube without problems during that period.
