Bandai Namco has released a new update for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The update mainly sets the stage for the first downloadable content pack, which is launching today. It also includes some new in-game promotions for Digimon Beatbreak.
Just so everyone knows, Digimon Beatbreak is the latest Digimon anime! The first episode just came out on October 5th, which was really cool timing since Bandai Namco released the new game, Time Stranger, a couple of days earlier on October 2nd and 3rd. I’m so excited for both of them!
The latest update for Digimon Beatbreak introduces a promotional trailer that will be displayed on billboards within the game’s virtual Shinjuku and Akihabara districts. Players can also now equip their character with a new T-shirt featuring a design inspired by the game’s protagonist, Tomoro, on the front and his partner Digimon, Gekkomon, on the back.
Check out the latest screenshots from the Japanese press release below. Digimon Story: Time Stranger is now available globally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC through Steam.
