IShowSpeed and his crew were briefly detained by police in Dallas while on his U.S. tour, and he was warned he could be charged with inciting a riot.
Since late August, IShowSpeed has been touring the United States, streaming non-stop and connecting with his fans. The tour has been a big hit for the popular streamer.
Wherever he travels, large groups of fans tend to follow, and this has caused some problems recently during his tour in Texas. In fact, a mall in Houston has completely banned him due to the size of the crowds he attracts.
While visiting Dallas, the popular streamer was invited to an arcade at night. A large crowd of fans quickly gathered, and his security team attempted to move him to safety.
IShowSpeed pulled over by police during Dallas stream
Speed jumped onto a group of people he’d hired to make the crowd look bigger, and also performed a backflip. But as he and his team tried to leave, the police blocked their way.
A police officer approached Speed’s team and said, “We’re going to have to charge him with rioting if things don’t calm down.”
The streamer’s security team told police they had been asked to be at the location, but were planning to leave regardless.

The situation also risked disrupting Speed’s stream plans. He’d hoped to pause and showcase the Dallas skyline, but his team warned him that police were still nearby.
Someone told him they were being followed by the police, and that officers were waiting for them once they finished filming. This frustrated Speed, who kept trying to come up with solutions to get the shot he needed without causing trouble with the police. But his crew wouldn’t cooperate for a little while.
Man, it was so frustrating! I was trying to get a good look at the Dallas skyline, but my security and family wouldn’t let me even get out of the car. Apparently, the police were threatening to arrest me if I did, which totally ruined the moment. It was a bummer, honestly. 😳

Speed finally got the footage he was looking for, and he happily went out of his way to greet a young fan he’d met on Discord.
It was wild! We all hung around after the stream, doing donuts in our cars and losing it whenever the streamer peeked on camera. Thankfully, the police eventually just let us have our fun.
