How Does The Guild System Work In Where Winds Meet?

You don’t have to explore Where Winds Meet by yourself! The game world is full of other players, and teaming up is the best way to enjoy everything it has to offer each week, no matter what you like to do. We’ll guide you on how to connect with others and play together.

It’s simple to join or create a guild, but making it successful takes effort. Here’s a guide to help you either build a new guild from scratch or strengthen an existing one within the martial world.

What Is A Guild?

A guild is a group of players who join forces to play together. They might work as a team to defeat challenging bosses, solve puzzles, or simply enjoy minigames. Different guilds focus on different things, so it’s a good idea to find one that suits your play style.

So, in my guild, we’ve got all sorts of roles – from the guild master who’s in charge, to newer players still learning the ropes as apprentices. What’s cool is that every guild has its own base, and we all chip in each week to help build it up. We pool our resources – guild reserves, basically – to improve things for everyone, like unlocking an exclusive shop with sweet gear!

You’re free to leave your guild whenever you want. However, depending on your position within the guild, there might be a waiting period before you can join a new one.

How To Join A Guild

To find a guild, first open the guild menu and choose the kind of group you want to join. Then, you can apply to any guild that’s currently accepting new members.

Before I join a guild, I always make sure to read the description carefully. You never know if they have a link to their Discord server or if there are any weekly things I need to do to stay in the guild. It’s good to be prepared!

After you apply to a guild, you’ll either be accepted right away or the guild leader will need to approve your request. Once you’re in, you can use the guild menu to check how you’re doing each week, get rewards, and access the guild’s headquarters.

How To Create A Guild

If you’re not finding the right guild, you can create your own for 300 Echo Jade and become its leader. You’ll get to choose a name and design a banner to help attract new members.

As a guild leader, I’ve learned the hard way about keeping enough gold on hand! There’s a daily fee to maintain the guild, and it gets bigger the more members you have. If I don’t cover that fee for seven days straight, the guild just… disappears. So yeah, I’m constantly checking my coin reserves to make sure we don’t get disbanded!

What To Do In A Guild

Guilds offer a central hub where you can hang out with fellow members. You can enjoy activities like playing minigames, relaxing in the baths, shopping, and contributing materials to the caravan for trade. Plus, completing weekly challenges together will boost your guild’s ranking and unlock better rewards for everyone.

Improving your guild’s features helps everyone, and getting better rewards depends on working together as a team. Here are some of the upgrades you can unlock for your guild:

  • Hall of Heroes. This room increases the rate at which you obtain treasure tokens for all members of the guild. Upgrading this enables your guild members to purchase more items more often from the exclusive guild shop.
  • The Cargo Warehouse. This room increases the maximum guild fund that can be stored. Initially, you’ll start out with a cap of 800,000 coins, and as your guild grows, you’ll want to upgrade this area to prevent funds from overflowing.
  • Hall of Wonders. This room improves the martial arts teaching facility on campus, giving your guild members a chance to practice and learn new moves.
  • The Guild Chamber. This upgrade impacts the maximum number of members allowed into the guild, as well as the number of apprentices. Increasing this allows you to welcome more people, which means more money.

Meeting the guild’s weekly goals will earn rewards for all members, so everyone needs to contribute. If you consistently fall short, the guild master might remove you and cancel your membership.

Working well as a team will help your guild grow, giving everyone access to new benefits. Contribute by spending at least 20 minutes each week at the guild base, adventuring with your fellow members, and donating resources – it’ll make life in the martial world easier for all of you!
