Kai Cenat overtakes Ninja to become second most followed streamer on Twitch

During his last Mathiathon event, Kai Cenat surpassed Ninja to secure the title of the second most-followed streamer on Twitch.

Mathiathon 3 has marked another significant milestone for Cenat, as he aims to become the first streamer to accrue one million subscribers on Twitch. With over half the month yet to pass, he currently boasts nearly 440,000 active subscribers, suggesting he is well on his way to shattering more records for the platform.

As a dedicated gamer, it’s been quite a ride watching the streaming landscape on Twitch unfold. For a while now, being at the top spot has been like wearing the crown of dominance. But things started shaking up when Ninja held that position during Fortnite’s global peak. Yet, Ibai managed to overtake him and solidified his lead ever since. Recently, Cenat’s meteoric rise has bumped Ninja down to third place for the first time – quite a turn of events!

Kai Cenat bumps Ninja out of second most followed spot

In September 2025, Ibai is in the lead on Twitch with approximately 19.76 million followers. Cenat follows closely behind with around 19.27 million, while Ninja is just slightly behind with about 19.23 million. This increase in followers occurred during Mathiathon 3, where Cenat’s marathon broadcast once again resulted in a significant surge of growth.

Cenat is now just about 500,000 followers short of Ibai’s lead, but with Mathiathon 3 ongoing and his following steadily increasing, it seems like he might snatch the top spot if he maintains this pace until the end of September.
