The streaming service consistently delivers high-quality action thrillers, both in ongoing series and standalone movies. Now, it appears a renewal for one of its biggest shows might happen sooner than expected. Although a new season hasn’t been officially announced, recent developments indicate it’s very likely to happen soon.
This series, which premiered in 2023 and is adapted from a Matthew Quirk novel, follows a little-known FBI agent working in the White House basement. His quiet job changes dramatically when the emergency phone he monitors finally rings, thrusting him into a thrilling and risky conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of power. The show has been critically acclaimed and popular with viewers, and while Season 3 is coming next year, the streaming service is already developing Season 4.
According to Deadline, Season 4 of The Night Agent will likely be filmed in Los Angeles instead of Vancouver and New York. This change is happening because Sony Pictures Television received a $31.6 million tax credit from California. While Season 4 hasn’t been officially confirmed, this move strongly suggests it’s happening.
I was so excited to read that Season 4 of The Night Agent is heading to Los Angeles! Apparently, the plan was always to set it there if they could secure a tax credit, and it’s great to see that come to fruition. I can’t wait to see how the change of scenery from New York and D.C. will shake things up and bring a whole new set of challenges for Peter and the team. It’s going to be fantastic!
