CD Projekt Red has been expanding its team recently. Just over a week ago, they brought on someone formerly from Warhorse Studios to design quests for the next Witcher game. Jess Scott, previously at Insomniac Games, is now an engineer working on Cyberpunk 2. Plus, Liz Albl, who led the story development for BioShock 4, has joined the team to contribute to future Cyberpunk adventures in Night City.
According to Albl’s LinkedIn profile, she recently joined the team writing the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. Before this, she contributed to the BioShock series and also wrote dialogue for popular games including Ghost of Tsushima, Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, Far Cry 4, and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
In August 2025, Albl departed from Cloud Chamber, the studio working on the next BioShock game. This timing coincided with a round of layoffs at the company. Reports also suggest the game wasn’t progressing as hoped, particularly with its story.
The Polish game development studio is currently hiring. They have eight open positions at their North American office, including roles for motion capture leads, technical animators, and engine programmers.
