During the peak of the Tomb Raider franchise, Top Cow published comics that were well-received due to their popularity. These comics shared continuity with the games created by Core Design, subtly adjusting Lara Croft’s narrative as she navigated her adventures. Notable artists and writers such as Dan Jurgens, Adam Hughes, Michael Turner, Andy Park, Marc Silvestri, David Finch, among others, contributed to this series.
Since the initial Tomb Raider series ended in 2005, numerous Tomb Raider comic books and graphic novels have seen publication. Regrettably, these other Tomb Raider comics are no longer in print today. But, good news! You can obtain the official tie-in novel for Shadow of the Tomb Raider titled Path of the Apocalypse. This well-received 320-page book was published by Titan Books in 2018 and is available in paperback for around $15.
Apart from The Colossal Collection, there’s another nostalgic offering for Tomb Raider enthusiasts in store this year – the physical release of Tomb Raider IV to VI Remastered is set to drop on September 19th.
