As a dedicated fan, I’d like to share an unexpected turn of events: The beloved Kick streamer known as ‘Zokkunzokkun’, who is 51 years old, found himself in handcuffs after wandering around a residential neighborhood close to Tokyo with a pair of underwear on his head.
It’s not unusual to hear about streamers being arrested for serious offenses, but recently, there has been an increase in questionable live streams originating from Japan.
In May, a live-streamer on Kick caused a stir by broadcasting from a suburban area within Ichikawa City, Chiba.
Yet, it was not his actions that raised suspicion, but rather the clothing he donned and the manner in which he wore it.
Streamer frightens women by wearing panties on his head
Reports from Japanese media claim that on May 19, the man commonly recognized as ‘Zokkunzokkun’, or Hiroyuki Tatenai, was spotted wearing a pair of women’s underwear on his head.
This video clip was the live broadcast that ultimately resulted in the detention of a 51-year-old Japanese streamer known as Zokkunzokkun. He reportedly confessed to authorities that his actions were intended to create chaos and attract more viewers.

A bystander, who observed the unusual incident, expressed being “startled and startled” upon seeing the 51-year-old individual.
Several weeks following the event, Tatenai was apprehended and was captured on video exiting a police station along with investigators on June 3rd.
According to police reports, the streamer apparently confessed that his unusual action was merely done to attract attention when they interrogated him, as per recent news about Tatenai.
“I did it to stir things up and increase my viewership,” he revealed.
The live-streamer on Twitch (Kick) has been detained under the assumption that he breached laws aimed at preventing disturbances, and there are suspicions that he could have also engaged in additional wrongdoings. Despite this, his Twitch stream (Kick channel) continues to operate.
On more than one occasion, a Japanese live streamer has created chaos. Back in April, a Kick streamer was met by law enforcement after wandering around town with a gas-powered replica gun, feigning an FPS game scenario. The streamer subsequently acknowledged that he had gone a bit overboard.
In March of 2025, a woman who created content was brutally murdered with a knife while she was streaming live on the Japanese platform WhoWatch, in the district of Shinjuku.
