Already 32 million players have checked out Palworld in early access and on Xbox Game Pass.
2024 saw Survival, an unexpected hit, make a splash on Steam over a year prior. Despite having only about 2 million players, Pocketpair Studio’s creation remains one of the most played titles on Valve’s platform. At the moment of writing this, Palworld stands at the 23rd spot.
Currently, it has been disclosed that the game, developed by a Japanese team, was played by more than 32 million users across PC, PS5, and XSX/S within its initial year. Undeniably, the creators expressed gratitude towards the fans for their significant backing of this game which has proven to be their most successful project thus far. However, they are far from satisfied and plan to continue pushing boundaries.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that Pocketpair Studio has rolled out an update for the game Palworld. The new version, 0.4.15, brings about a notable alteration to the Random Pal mode. Now, players have the option to randomize only the genre of creatures, not their levels as previously. This modification ensures that players won’t unexpectedly encounter opponents at the maximum level in the initial area. For those seeking a challenge, they can play without this adjustment by selecting the ‘X’ option.
Additionally, issues leading to forced game closures on Xbox and Steam Deck have been resolved, together with numerous minor enhancements such as shrinking the storage space required for saved game state files.
