3 Villains Confirmed for 2026 WandaVision Sequel: Get Ready for Chaos!

In the upcoming sequel to WandaVision, titled Vision Quest, slated for 2026, a group of formidable antagonists will dominate the plot. Starting the Multiverse Saga in 2021 with WandaVision, we were captivated by an exciting narrative revolving around Wanda Maximoff and Vision. The story continued in 2024 with Agatha All Along, but now it’s Vision’s turn to shine solo. Despite this, he won’t lack adversaries eager to bring him down.

In the confirmed movie titled “Vision Quest,” we have Paul Bettany’s White Vision joined by three formidable antagonists. This film serves as a significant continuation for numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) projects with legacy ties, following on from the events of WandaVision where White Vision mysteriously left Westview. The story will resume with the titular android, Vision, after Wanda vanquished Agatha Harkness and Agatha faced off against Death. With these events setting the stage, expect more chaos in the third and final installment of this Disney+ trilogy.

Under the guidance of MCU veteran Paul Bettany, the upcoming series titled “Vision Quest” will serve as the concluding chapter in a Disney+ trilogy that was initiated with “WandaVision” and “Agatha All Along“. The series will include talented actors such as James Spader (known for his role as Ultron), T’Nia Miller (playing Jocasta), Kerry Condon (portraying Friday), and additional cast members. Anticipated to premiere on Disney+ in 2026, “Vision Quest” promises an exciting continuation of the MCU storyline.

3 Enemies Set for 2026 WandaVision‘s Vision Quest Follow-Up

Ultron

For the first time since his role as the main antagonist in 2015’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, James Spader’s character, Ultron, is slated for a return appearance in the upcoming film titled “Vision Quest“. There have been whispers that Ultron will reappear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), this time partially in human form, when Vision seeks to recover some past memories while visiting the city of Madripoor.

Initially developed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, leading to the demise of JARVIS, Ultron stands as a potent artificial entity. Capable of crafting a menacing robot shell for himself, Ultron presents a formidable physical adversary for any foe. However, his true strength lies not in his physique but in his extraordinary intellect, which allows him to effortlessly penetrate and manipulate hardware systems, as well as command machinery at will.

Given that Vision was primarily created by Ultron, their interactions are bound to be profound, filled with complexity. It’s plausible that Ultron has devised a new plan to eliminate humanity, while Vision is more focused on self-discovery before taking on further world-saving tasks. This setup promises a lot of tension and drama between the two main characters.

Jocasta

In the upcoming “Vision Quest” series, Jocasta – who was previously hinted at in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” as an Easter egg – is set to make her full debut as a villain. T’Nia Miller, a new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will portray this antagonistic AI program, another creation of Ultron from the Marvel Comics.

In the comics, Jocasta boasts an array of abilities such as heightened senses, superhuman strength, and the power to command insects. The specifics of her portrayal in live-action, both visually and character-wise, remain undetermined, thus sparking curiosity about how she will be integrated into the storyline.

From what’s displayed, Jocasta deviates from her initial programming set by Ultron, transforming into a more valiant character. This could potentially indicate a shift in allegiance for her in the upcoming episodes. Yet, it’s clear that Jocasta and Ultron combined will present a formidable force against Vision.

Paladin

The series will feature a non-AI adversary alongside Todd Stashwick from “Star Trek: Picard,” who plays the role of the iconic Marvel Comics villain, Paladin. Originally positioned as an opponent for Daredevil, Paladin is now pursuing Paul Bettany’s android character and his advanced equipment in this context.

Although his real name remains a mystery, Paladin is a previous mercenary and detective who has crossed paths with various Marvel superheroes. His abilities mirror those of the traditional Super Soldiers in the MCU, such as increased strength, speed, endurance, agility, and resilience. He is also highly skilled in marksmanship and combat, employing a variety of sophisticated weaponry and technology.

It remains unclear why Paladin acts as he does, but it seems he intends to journey across the world to locate Vision and seize the technology that powers the Avenger. Reports suggest he may join forces with Faran Tahir’s Raza and the malevolent Ten Rings group, who came close to taking Tony Stark’s life in Iron Man.
