In the fictional region of Rinascita within Wuthering Waves, the expansive stronghold known as Averardo Vault is under the control of the Montelli Family. This massive structure contains a substantial portion of Ragunna City’s wealth, giving off an impression of opulence due to its golden decorations. Despite the surrounding areas showing signs of past generations, players will soon discover that there’s a deeper layer to this place as they delve further into their exploration.
In addition to the typical Echo adversaries and secret treasures, this area offers a range of brain-teasers. One such puzzle to uncover is called “The Challenges of the Three Fratellis near Averardo Vault“. There are a total of 6 challenges designed for players of Wuthering Waves , and these tasks involve finding three brothers scattered across the region. Each brother presents a unique challenge to be solved, and solving all of them in Rinascita will unlock a hidden accomplishment. Additionally, completing each regional challenge rewards players with 20 Astrites.
The Three Fratellis Challenge Location 1 – Averardo Vault
Travel to the “Rinascita-Ragunna-Averardo Vault Resonance Nexus”. Upon arrival, you’ll find stairs directly in front of you. Climb these stairs, and you’ll encounter Fratellino who will task you with transforming into an Echo and assisting him in gathering some book pages. These ‘bookpage challenges’ can be tricky as the line indicating the route to follow vanishes halfway through. Additionally, Fratellino demands that you collect at least 75% to 90% of the book pages; otherwise, the challenge will be deemed a failure.
It’s great that you can attempt this challenge as many times as necessary. As for this specific challenge, be sure to stick to the path of the candle. Your best bet is to recall precisely how the line was arranged. If you’re uncertain, remember to follow the floating pages. Keep in mind that the floating pages may not always be dependable, but since this initial puzzle is relatively straightforward, there’s no need to stress too much. Inside the first candle, stay put. Once you reach the second one, go around it and then move above the top two candles before descending again.
The Three Fratellis Challenge Location 2 – Averardo Vault
Moving on, the next location is not far by air travel, but you’ll have to use a teleportation device to get there – it’s the Resonance Beacon located south of the Resonance Nexus. To get some altitude, you can scale the archway behind you. Your destination is a large stone platform situated several hundred meters away. Don’t forget to equip your ‘Wings’ in the game to help you reach that area more easily.
Here at this location, you’ll encounter Fratello who will set a time-bound task for you. Your objective is to arrive at the designated spot within the specified duration. However, to make progress swiftly, you should employ the Echo to propel yourself through the skies. After it releases you, remember to put on your wings, rise up, and fly in the indicated direction. Upon reaching the end, you’ll be rewarded with an Advanced Supply Chest.
The Three Fratellis Challenge Location 3 – Averardo Vault
Move towards the “Resonance Beacon” located at the southern part of your map, then soar down over the stretch of land below you. You’ll encounter Fratello once more here, and a fresh Echo challenge awaits. Unlike previous challenges, this one demands that you transform into the Cuddle Wuddle and attack the rock standing in front of you.
To successfully finish the challenge, make sure to press the button once the timer reaches the yellow section. Keep in mind that if you don’t get it right multiple times, you’ll have to try again. Following a successful attempt, you’ll be rewarded with an Advanced Supply Chest from Fratello, and then you can proceed to the next challenge.
The Three Fratellis Challenge Location 4 – Averardo Vault
As the fourth location approaches, make your way there by running along the road ahead. To boost your speed, consider using the Somnaire Cats White Paws. Eventually, you’ll reach an open space, where Fratellino and another participant for the Unfinished Book Challenge will be waiting.
This task is a bit trickier than the last one; for added assistance, simply follow the lines depicted in the provided image. There’s no particular strategy involved here because there are no indicators on the floor to follow. Instead, rely on your instincts and attempt to track the moving pages as closely as possible. If you don’t reach the desired percentage, feel free to try again. Just remember to approach the edge of the circle. As soon as you touch it, return to your starting point. Upon finishing this task, you will receive an Advanced Supply Chest as a reward.
The Three Fratellis Challenge Location 5 – Averardo Vault
For players of Wuthering Waves, this task could be quite unfamiliar. It centers around taking in the nearby horrors and purifying the space. Upon arrival, have a chat with Fratellone. Afterward, you’ll want to morph into Echo. A transformation prompt should appear, and the goal is to absorb all the spheres that are magenta in color. To accomplish this, press and hold your skill button to aim and draw everything into your book.
Next to your right, you’ll spot a vertical structure adorned with glowing, red orbs. Utilize your grapple ability to pull it towards the open platform in front of it and stand on the square platform to its left. Once that pillar is positioned next to you, use your grapple skill again to move the central pillar towards you. After that, slide the new pillar with the red orbs onto the center square. The objective here is to arrange all three pillars with their red orbs in a triangular formation.
1) Lastly, change into the Echo form again (the Echo ability is located near a rock pile and candle in your rear). Then, position yourself right in the center of those three pillars. Activate the Echo talent, hold it down to gather everything around you. After that, you’ll be able to return and chat with Fratellone to obtain your Advanced Supply Chest.
The Three Fratellis Challenge Location 6 – Averardo Vault
The final hurdle lies to the north of Averardo Vault, near the very edge of the cliff adjacent to the most northern Resonance Beacon. Simply teleport there and ascend the slope behind you to locate Fratello once more. Much like before, this involves a time-based challenge where you must reach specific locations swiftly. Remember to go as fast as possible and consistently utilize the Echo stingray for an additional lift in the sky.
