A key benefit of the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription is playing classic games from the original PlayStation and PlayStation 2. Now, thanks to improvements in technology from Brazilian company QUByte, even more classic PlayStation games will be available on new platforms. QUByte has enhanced its technology to support the original PlayStation, meaning many beloved titles from that console will be added to the Premium catalog.
We already know that work is underway on three game conversions from the first PlayStation.
- The first is Invasion from Beyond from 1998, an aerial shooter inspired by mid-20th-century science fiction movies.
- The second is Motor Mash, an isometric racing game from 1997 reminiscent of Micro Machines.
- The third on the list is One, also released in 1997, a third-person science fiction action game.
PlayStation 5 versions of older, popular games often appear on PlayStation Plus Premium first, so we anticipate that will likely be the case with this one too. Unfortunately, we don’t know when it will be released yet.
