Columbus commented that our movie was approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, and the sequel was nearly as long. He appreciates the luxury of multiple episodes for each book in the series because it allows them to include all the details we couldn’t fit into our films. There were many wonderful scenes left out, but he’s eager to see how they’ll explore these in their adaptation. Columbus believes it’s terrific.
