On June 6th, Amazon Prime Video is set to debut “Esports World Cup: Level Up,” a five-part documentary series chronicling the first ever Esports World Cup (EWC) in 2024. This series, helmed by Emmy-winning director R.J. Cutler, provides an exclusive behind-the-scenes perspective of the tournament.

The documentary “Level Up” is filmed using a real-life approach (verité style) and showcases the most exciting highlights from an eight-week competition that took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Cutler expressed that the Esports World Cup captivated him due to the intriguing human narratives unfolding within such a high-stakes setting. He added that “Level Up” isn’t simply about the intense competition and lucrative rewards; it’s about the determination, enthusiasm, and indomitable spirit of these athletes and teams, pushing the limits of what can be achieved.
In this upcoming series, we’ll be focusing on significant plot points for FAKER (from T1), Soka (Team Falcons), Sanford (Team Liquid), Drazah (Atlanta FaZe), and both Chel and Cinny (Team Vitality).
This series will delve into crucial story arcs for FAKER, Soka, Sanford, Drazah, and the duo of Chel and Cinny – all hailing from their respective teams.
In addition, it will highlight Yevhen Zolotarov, the chief executive officer of NAVI, as well as Mossad Aldossary, the head of Team Falcons.
