1984 PC-6001mkII RPG Lizard gets ported to EGG Console PC for free in Japan

D4 Enterprise has made available a version of Xtalsoft’s 1984 PC-6001mkII RPG game “Lizard” for Windows 10 and 11 computers, absolutely free, through their EGG Console PC system. However, it’s important to note that in order to access this free port, you need to already have an active account on the Japanese platform first.

In this game, the objective is for you to search for the Book of Truth to lift a curse off a princess. To begin, select one of the three character classes: Warrior, Thief, or Merchant. Then, delve into a ten-story tower with 3D environments, facing random battles as you progress. During these conflicts, you can engage in dialogue with your adversaries to gather information, but be aware that this approach may provoke them into attacking you immediately.

As a fan, I’m thrilled to share that you can check out the quick gameplay trailer and snapshots for Lizard just below. However, it remains unclear if D4 Enterprise intends to bring this Japanese title to the Nintendo Switch globally, similar to how they’ve brought games like Mirai and Nihon Falcom’s Ys series to the platform. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
