At LVL UP EXPO 2025, a 15-year-old prodigy in Super Smash Bros Ultimate left everyone amazed by clinching the top spot at one of the year’s most competitive tournaments.
As a gamer, I may not have been well-known in the Smash Ultimate community as Doramigi, but that all shifted on April 27 when I, the Min Min main, made some serious history at the P-Tier event. It’s safe to say, I’ve put my mark on the Smash scene now!
The LVL UP EXPO in Las Vegas attracted several top-tier gaming professionals vying for a prize pool of $10,000, with competitors such as Sparg0, Acola, MkLeo, Zomba, Light, Glutonny, and others participating.
At the recent event, Doramigi stood out as a promising newcomer amidst several other competitors who had been seeded higher. However, his unexpected victory made the event even more thrilling, given that he not only claimed the title but also did so with panache.
This 15-year-old Smash player dominated a P-tier
Doramigi’s performance was outstanding, maintaining a winning streak without being relegated to the elimination round, and defeating numerous prominent figures within the gaming community along the way.
In a dominating performance, Min Min eliminated Faze Sparg0 in a compelling 3-game series, followed by narrowly beating Kiyarash (the newcomer Luigi player) in an intense 5-match competition to make it to the Top 8.
Congratulations to @doramigi_1008 for winning LVL UP EXPO 2025! 🎊🏆🎊

In the semi-finals, Doramagi managed an astonishing comeback from a 2-game deficit against ROB’s main player, Zomba, eventually winning with a score of 3-0 in reverse.
Ultimately, during the Grand Finals, Doramigi faced off against Onin, a renowned Steve player. With Onin leading 2-1 in the final round, Doramigi achieved one of the most memorable moments in his career.
Following Onin’s acquisition of his initial stock during game 4, he managed a few successful hits, reducing Steve’s health to 25.4%. At this juncture, Onin attempted to deploy an anvil, but Doramigi swiftly countered with Min Min’s upward smash, effectively deflecting the move.
In essence, the reflector dramatically increased the harm by about 1.8 times its original amount, leading to an unexpectedly swift demise of Steve. This action left commentator EEVisu completely astonished and speechless.

“What in the hell?!” he cried out moments later after processing what he witnessed.
15-year-old Japanese players have previously created an international stir, and it’s not surprising that Acola, who achieved a commendable 33rd place at this year’s tournament, was already a notable figure following his victory in the Gimvitational last year.
In future events, it’s possible that Doramigi could rise to be the world’s number one player in the Smash scene, given his impressive performances so far. With the largest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament set for May’s kickoff, spectators should definitely watch out for this rising star.
