In the pipeline for Apple TV+ is a fresh heist drama titled “12 12 12”, with Anthony Mackie taking the main role. Interestingly, this production has just added a well-respected actor, Kali Reis, who gained noticeable recognition for her work alongside Jodie Foster, to its cast as a co-star for Mackie.

12 12 12’s official tagline reveals that the series weaves together three captivating timelines related to a heist: the year-long planning phase, the 12-hour execution of the heist, and the 12 days after the heist have elapsed. The story revolves around an ex-FBI agent (Anthony Mackie) who finds himself at odds with an American criminal (Jamie Dornan from The Tourist), as they engage in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse across various European cities. At the heart of it all is an audacious bank heist beneath Zurich’s streets, which Reis recently confirmed as part of the series plot.

Mackie was recently spotted portraying Captain America/Sam Wilson in this year’s film “Captain America: Brave New World.” He will be returning to the role for the upcoming movie “Avengers: Doomsday,” scheduled for release in 2026. Last month, he traveled to the U.K. to commence production on “Doomsday.
