Okay, so everyone’s buzzing about Avengers: Doomsday, and for good reason! This movie is the big crossover event we’ve all been waiting for – think X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, all colliding in one film. As someone who’s been following the Multiverse Saga from the start, I can tell you the stakes are huge, and it really relies on some incredible team-ups to deliver a satisfying conclusion. It needs those dynamic duos to absolutely nail it, and honestly, the anticipation is killing me!
With so many heroes in Avengers: Doomsday, there’s potential for exciting and surprising team-ups. Pairings like Doctor Strange with Mister Fantastic, The Thing with Hulk, or Captain America with Cyclops feel natural and could become memorable moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe if Marvel Studios chooses to explore them.
Namor & U.S. Agent Have A Morally Ambiguous Alignment
I’ve always thought it would be amazing to see Namor and John Walker team up! They haven’t crossed paths yet, either in the movies or the comics, but I think they’d actually work really well together. Both of them operate in a pretty gray area morally, and I can just picture Namor sizing Walker up right away. Knowing how clever Namor is, he’d definitely make sure to stay on Walker’s good side – it just makes sense!
Okay, so let’s talk about who’d really get the job done if we needed to make some tough, universe-saving choices. Honestly, if the mission involved wiping out alternate Earths to protect our own, Namor and U.S. Agent would be my picks. They’re the kind of characters who prioritize their people above all else and wouldn’t hesitate to do what needs to be done, even if it’s…extreme. A lot of our more heroic types are too bound by rules and morality to make that kind of hard decision, but Namor and U.S. Agent? They’d absolutely see it through.
Doctor Strange & Reed Richards Are Incredibly Smart
As a huge cinema fan, I’ve always seen a lot of parallels between Doctor Strange and Mr. Fantastic. Both are incredibly brilliant, and let’s be honest, they can both be a little arrogant at times! They also both carry this huge sense of responsibility, like the fate of everything rests on their shoulders. Honestly, I think it’s crucial that these two geniuses finally cross paths before the Multiverse Saga wraps up – the potential for a dynamic between them is just too good to ignore.
People are excited about the possibility of these two characters teaming up because their clashing personalities would be incredibly funny. They have very different approaches to problems – one relies on magic, the other on science – and watching them try to convince each other of their way of thinking would be entertaining. Plus, they’re both geniuses, so working together, they might be the only ones who can save the entire multiverse.
Bucky Barnes & Sam Wilson Are Close Allies
It’s great that Falcon and the Winter Soldier finally got their own series. However, it’s been a while since they teamed up in Madripoor, and their lives have taken them in separate directions. Now, they’re each leading different groups of Avengers, which fits their often-argumentative dynamic.
Audiences enjoy watching Captain America and Bucky Barnes clash, but they really love seeing them team up to fight criminals. Even with major issues like fixing the multiverse facing the Avengers, these two will always set aside any disagreements and work together when it comes to battling crime.
Scarlet Witch & Magneto Have A Long History in Comics
Although it hasn’t been officially announced, many fans believe Elizabeth Olsen will appear in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film. They point out that the Russo brothers, who previously directed several Avengers movies, have always included her character in their projects. If she does return, fans are hoping to see a team-up between her character, Wanda, and Magneto.
As a longtime fan, I know these two characters have a really deep history together in the comics – they were even father and daughter for years! While I understand the movies won’t go that route, it would be amazing to see them share a fight scene. It would be a fantastic way to acknowledge their long relationship from the comics and give us fans a little nod to that history.
The Thing & Hulk Are Two Marvel Powerhouses
Hulk and the Thing are two of the strongest heroes around, and they both acknowledge each other’s incredible power. They even have a playful competition in the comic books. Although a battle between them would be spectacular in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most fans would prefer to see them team up and fight alongside each other against a shared threat.
When Ben and Bruce work together, they’re incredibly powerful – capable of destroying even the toughest vehicles like tanks or spaceships in moments. That’s what fans are hoping to see in Avengers: Doomsday: the two of them battling Doom’s army while playfully showing off and teasing anyone smaller than themselves.
Spider-Man & Johnny Storm Have A Wholesome Friendship
Even though Tom Holland’s appearance in Avengers: Doomsday hasn’t been confirmed, fans still have reason to be optimistic. If Spider-Man does return to fight with the Avengers, many would enjoy seeing him team up with Johnny Storm. Because they’re both relatively young, they’d likely become fast friends.
Pairing Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and the Human Torch (Johnny Storm) would be a huge hit with comic book readers. Both characters are incredibly popular, and they share a strong dynamic. Plus, their fighting styles complement each other – they’re both quick, acrobatic, and can easily take to the air to battle opponents. A fight scene featuring them soaring towards enemies would be amazing.
Yelena & Mystique Are Great For Stealth Missions
Okay, so I’m hearing some wild stuff about the new Avengers: Doomsday trailer! Apparently, there’s a scene where Yelena Belova actually fights a clone of herself, and that clone then morphs into Raven! Can you believe it? Everyone who’s seen it is buzzing about it. Honestly, while seeing them battle it out sounds amazing, I’m secretly hoping they eventually team up – that would be epic!
Mystique and Yelena are both highly skilled martial artists – strong, quick, and experts at sneaking around. They’d make an ideal team for infiltrating Doom’s castle if the heroes ever needed to get inside. With careful filming, their fight scenes could be as impressive and dynamic as Daredevil’s iconic battles in Daredevil: Born Again.
Gambit & Shang-Chi Have Similar Fighting Styles
As a huge movie fan, I’m already getting excited about the possibility of Gambit and Shang-Chi teaming up! Just imagining their fighting styles clashing – or even working together – gives me chills. Seriously, the choreography alone would be amazing. And let’s be real, these two are powerhouses – they could probably take on an entire army between them!
Channing Tatum’s Gambit and Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi are both naturally funny and likable, which would make them a fantastic duo. While their playful chemistry is obvious, Marvel should also explore a team-up where they fight together. Imagine an exciting action sequence with Gambit and Shang-Chi battling enemies amidst flying cards and energy rings – it could be one of the most impressive fight scenes the Marvel Cinematic Universe has ever seen.
Captain America & Cyclops Are Two Born-Leaders
Steve Rogers and Scott Summers are both strong leaders and skilled fighters, known for their strategic thinking and relentless spirit. It’s likely they’ll find themselves on opposing sides in Avengers: Doomsday because they’re each trying to protect their own world. However, when it comes to defeating Doom, they’ll need to work together.
Audiences would be thrilled to see James Marsden and Chris Evans team up. Both actors are well-known for their roles in superhero movies and TV shows. Plus, the characters they’ve played – Captain America and Cyclops – are consistently fan favorites in the comics. Together, they could lead a powerful superhero team that would even intimidate Doctor Doom!
Thor & Loki Need A Reunion
Fans are eagerly anticipating Thor and Loki’s reunion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor thinks Loki is gone, but he’ll be shocked to learn Loki isn’t the villain he once was. In fact, Loki has become a tremendously powerful being who shapes all of reality. While audiences are excited to see them reconnect, many also hope to see the brothers fighting side-by-side.
Loki and Thor have often been opponents in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but haven’t truly fought together as allies. If this is the last time Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth play these characters, it’s important they share plenty of screen time to celebrate their complex history. Loki has earned the chance to show Thor how much he’s grown and become a hero himself.
