The new James Bond film, 007 First Light, will have a theme song performed by Lana Del Rey, who has been nominated for a Grammy Award.
James Bond fans often argue about which films are the best, but the iconic theme songs also spark a lot of discussion. Each movie starts with a unique song performed by a famous artist – legends like Shirley Bassey and Nancy Sinatra, as well as more recent stars like Billie Eilish and Adele, have all contributed.
IO Interactive’s new James Bond game, 007 First Light, will continue the tradition of iconic Bond theme songs, and this time, pop star Lana Del Rey will be performing it.

The official lyric video for the song was released on April 16th on her YouTube channel, and the song quickly became available on streaming platforms such as Spotify. The song itself was originally written by Lana Del Rey, with the music composed by David Arnold, known for his work scoring several James Bond films, including those made between ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ and ‘Quantum of Solace’.
IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak expressed his excitement about the collaboration between Lana Del Rey and David Arnold, noting that their song immediately evokes the classic ‘Bond’ sound while also feeling new and unique for the game, ‘007 First Light.’ He added that bringing Bond back to the world of gaming is a huge achievement for IO Interactive, and a song of this caliber makes the moment even more memorable.
