Crypto Ponzi Trio Receives a Sumptuous Sentence of One Hundred and Seventy Years Combined!

In the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-three, the Brazilian Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office, with righteous indignation, didst commence an inquiry into the dealings of Braiscompany, a firm promising returns of eight percent monthly on investments in Crypto – a promise as hollow as a politician’s vow! 🤥

Furthermore, the court, in its infinite wisdom, hath ordered the confiscation of Souza’s assets, valued at thirty-six million, five hundred and ninety thousand Reals – a mere six million, three hundred thousand dollars! A pittance compared to the fortunes he purloined! 😠

Alongside this villain, his own son, Victor Augusto Veronez de Souza, was given a fifteen-year stint in the dungeons for his part in this nefarious scheme. Let it be known that these three rogues are also compelled to pay fines of varying amounts, in addition to a collective sum to compensate the unfortunate investors they didst deceive. Meanwhile, Mizael Moreira Silva and Clelio Fernando Cabral do Ó, also accused, were acquitted, the court finding insufficient evidence to condemn them. Perhaps they were merely pawns in a much grander, more wicked game. 🤔

Most curious, indeed! Antônio Neto Ais and Fabrícia Campos, a married couple and founders of Braiscompany, remain in Argentina, awaiting extradition. These two lovebirds, with a penchant for financial trickery, fled Brazil in February of two thousand and twenty-four, as the authorities began to close in on their fraudulent empire. 🏃‍♀️💨

Declared fugitives by the Brazilian government, Neto Ais and Campos were briefly apprehended by Argentine authorities, only to be released for reasons legal and, no doubt, convoluted. Nevertheless, they still face extradition to Brazil, where Judge Costa Vidor hath already sentenced Neto Ais to eighty-eight years in prison, and Campos to sixty-one years. A fitting punishment for those who prey upon the gullible! 😈
