Even though Robert Pattinson and his co-star are major names in Hollywood, they’re only now working together for the first time. Luckily for fans, three of their projects are already scheduled for release in 2026.
A24 has announced that the romantic comedy *The Drama* will be released in North American theaters on April 3, 2026. Directed and written by Kristoffer Borgli, this is his fourth feature film and his second collaboration with A24 following the 2023 film *Dream Scenario*, which earned Nicolas Cage a Golden Globe nomination. While specific details about the plot are being kept secret, *The Drama* is expected to center on a couple navigating challenges as they approach their wedding day. The film stars Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, and Hailey Gates.
What Other 2026 Movies Are Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Starring in Together?
I’m so excited for Zendaya and Pattinson’s new movie, *The Drama*, which comes out in April! It’s the first of three projects they’re doing together. Then, in July, we’ll get to see them in another one. But I’m really buzzing about Christopher Nolan’s next film, *The Odyssey*. It’s going to be an epic take on the classic Greek poem, with Matt Damon playing Odysseus. And the cast is incredible – Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron… it’s going to be huge! It’s a follow-up to *Oppenheimer*, so I have really high expectations.
Both actors will conclude their work together with *Dune: Part Three*, which is planned as the last movie in Denis Villeneuve’s *Dune* trilogy. The film will be based on Frank Herbert’s novel *Dune Messiah* from 1969, though it’s currently unclear how closely it will follow the book. Recent casting choices have led fans to wonder if the movie might also include elements from Herbert’s third *Dune* novel, *Children of Dune*, published in 1976. Zendaya will return as Chani, and Robert Pattinson is joining the cast in a currently secret role.
Besides working with Austin Butler, Zendaya will appear in the upcoming *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*, which releases shortly after *The Odyssey*. It’s currently unclear how big her role will be, especially since the last *Spider-Man* movie, *No Way Home*, left her character, MJ, with no memory of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson is preparing to film the next *Batman* movie at Warner Bros. Studios in England. Matt Reeves is back to direct and write the sequel, *The Batman Part II*, which will continue the story after the events of *The Batman* and *The Penguin*.
The Drama is scheduled to hit theaters on April 3, 2026.
