As a movie fan, I’ll never forget Wonder Woman’s iconic gauntlet smash – the way she brings her bracelets together to unleash that huge shockwave is just awesome. It’s been over ten years since they filmed Batman v Superman, but it’s clear Zack Snyder still really loves Diana and Gal Gadot. He recently shared a slow-motion clip on Instagram of Gal Gadot practicing that famous smash, and it looks incredible!

The video quality from the iPhone is surprisingly good. The slow-motion footage shows Gal Gadot looking determined, as if preparing for a fight, and then protecting her face with her iconic bracelets. What I loved most was seeing her character break into a genuine smile as she playfully raised her arms. Gadot perfectly captured both strength and a lightheartedness in her performance, and that really came through.
Watching behind-the-scenes videos like this one is a lot of fun because it shows you how much work goes into making superhero films. It’s great to see the actors having a good time playing such powerful characters. Gal Gadot, for example, really let her personality shine through when getting ready for her Wonder Woman audition – she listened to Beyoncé’s “Run the World.” It makes sense that someone embodying grace and female strength would get inspired by Queen Bey!
