Ys X: Proud Nordics is coming to PlayStation 5 as revealed by Falcom in its financial report.
The upcoming game Ys X: Proud Nordics for the West is scheduled to release in early 2026. Currently, NIS America has only announced versions for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (available on Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store). However, a recent financial report from Falcom indicates that a PlayStation 5 version will also be part of the Western release. Thanks to Gematsu for bringing this to our attention!

So, Ys X is finally out in the West! I’ve been playing it on my PlayStation 5, but it’s also available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC if you prefer. If you’re interested in learning more, like reading Adam’s review or checking out my comparison of how it plays on different platforms, you can find everything we’ve covered right here.
Catch up on the new content in Ys X: Proud Nordics with James’ feature article, and read my review of the game on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Ys X: Proud Nordics will be released in early 2026 in Western markets on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
