As a long-time fan of the Ys series who has spent countless hours traversing the mystical lands of Falcom’s brilliant game worlds, the news of Ys X: Proud Nordics is nothing short of exhilarating! The prospect of revisiting this classic title with improved graphics and additional content is a dream come true.
Japanese developer, Nihon Falcom, has unveiled “Ys X: Proud Nordics”, slated for release in Japan by 2025. This is an enhanced edition of the original game, featuring substantial upgrades. The specific platforms for this updated version of “Ys X: Nordics” have yet to be disclosed.
According to Falcom’s official announcement and website for Ys X: Proud Nordics, a release date in 2025 is announced, but no specific platforms have been disclosed yet. What we know for sure is that it will include new bosses, Mana Ride races, additional story content, and arena battles. At this moment, an English version hasn’t been confirmed.
In the West, the game titled Ys X: Nordics became available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) about a year following its Japanese launch.
