Japan-based game developer, Nihon Falcom, has revealed that the remastered version of “Ys Memoir: Memories of Celceta” is set to release for Nintendo Switch in Japan on May 22nd. This updated edition will include fresh background music arrangements.
Originally launched in Japan for PS Vita in 2012 and later in North America, Falcom’s action RPG Ys: Memories of Celceta is now making its way to Nintendo Switch on May 22 in Japan. The game previously appeared on PC in 2018, PlayStation 4 in Japan (2019) and the West (2020). This new version offers an option to change or keep the original background music, providing a fresh twist to the classic tunes. You can read our review of the PS Vita original here.
This installment belongs to the Memoire series, which first introduced Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana on Switch, later appearing on PlayStation systems in Japan.
