You’ve Gotta See This Amazing Mario Kart World Speedrun

The recent Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) charity livestream revealed a hidden feature in Mario Kart World. The game’s Free Roam mode allows players to explore freely, and AGDQ showcased how to use it to create a customized and playful experience.

Speedrunner Helix recently completed the challenging “All ? Panels” category in Mario Kart World’s Free Roam mode in under 30 minutes. This involves finding and activating every question mark block in the game. Helix achieved this impressive feat by skillfully using advanced techniques, a bit of luck, and the game’s rewind function.

Helix is incredibly skilled at navigating the expansive world of Mario Kart World. Many hidden items are hard to find unless you know exactly where to look and how to get there with your specific character. For this speedrun, Helix chose Para-Biddybud because his light weight and superior air control are advantageous. He also recommends starting a new game file, as the game will otherwise place you near the last course you finished in Free Roam mode.

At the Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) event earlier this week, Minecraft creator DThaiPome dressed as Pac-Man and completed a speedrun of Pac-Man World 2 in around 30 minutes. AGDQ is ongoing until January 11th, and all money raised will benefit The Prevent Cancer Foundation.
