YouTube creators are increasingly frustrated with the platform’s AI-powered moderation system. One creator, from the CyberCPU Tech channel, recently had two videos briefly removed, and now their entire channel has been shut down. They believe the AI made a mistake and there was no legitimate reason for the removal.
AI on YouTube deleted a channel
YouTuber Endermanch is leaving YouTube after his second channel, Big Tarkin, was banned. He believes the ban wasn’t justified. YouTube says Big Tarkin was blocked because it was connected to another channel that had repeatedly violated copyright rules, leading to that channel’s termination.
Hi tarkin,
Your channel has been removed because it was connected to another channel that received multiple copyright strikes – specifically, three or more. Please check the email address associated with the linked channel for further details.
The issue is that Endermanch doesn’t recognize a channel that seems to be from Japan. He’s never seen the name before and isn’t sure what it means. However, YouTube is incorrectly linking this unknown channel to his own. Endermanch thinks this kind of error could only be caused by an AI mistake.
The creator recently shared that he’s challenging the decision, though he doesn’t expect it to be successful. He’s faced near-bans before and believes his channel is likely to be taken down eventually. Unfortunately, that prediction came true just a few hours ago when he announced his main channel had been removed from the platform.
The content creator also encourages other YouTubers to explore different income sources. They shouldn’t depend solely on YouTube, as channels can be unexpectedly removed by the platform’s automated systems.
